The first Friday of every month, Mondo’s homebase hamlet of Brattleboro, Vermont hosts “Gallery Walk,” and it’s just one more reason I choose to run a business and live in this unique town.
With Main St. closed to vehicles and live music ricocheting off downtown buildings, Brattleboro’s dozens and dozens of art galleries keep their doors open late to showcase our area’s artists’ latest and greatest work. Beside the handful of dedicated art galleries in town, there are several downtown businesses — cafes, bars, music shops, even the Edward Jones financial planning office — that choose to hang shows every month and invite public viewing.
The artistry that thrives in this small town is part of what inspires our creativity at Mondo Mediaworks. If you’ve never been to Brattleboro, I highly suggest a visit (stop by the Mondo office on Main St. while you’re here). And if you already live here… see ya Friday night.
